In 1984, Paul Peck, the pastor of Prairie Bible Church, was living in Tacoma, WA, with his family. They were praying about moving to MT and starting a church. They were led to Southwest Montana to a Church Planting Ministry and the birth of Horse Prairie Bible Church at the Grant School. After a few years the Church moved to Armstead Campground where we spent 5 years. Then eventually to our current location and somewhere in between we lost our horse, thus the new name Prairie Bible Church.

Our building at 1030 E Sebree was a gift from a Church group that disbanded.

We at Prairie Bible Church (PBC) have been serving Beaverhead County for over 35 years.
